The PE Curriculum at Bourne Abbey
At our school, we are dedicated to fostering a love for physical activity and developing each child’s potential through a comprehensive PE curriculum. We work closely with Inspire+, providing our students with weekly specialist coaching to enhance their skills and confidence in a variety of sports. To support high-quality PE lessons, especially for non-specialist teachers, we utilise the Get Set 4 PE programme, ensuring engaging and effective instruction. Beyond the classroom, we offer a wealth of extracurricular opportunities, including sports clubs and competitive events, to further enrich our students’ physical education experience. This approach reflects our school vision of nurturing every child’s potential and valuing their individual contributions, as we strive to promote a lifelong passion for physical activity and overall well-being.
