Year Two Learning This Week
The children from Year Two have been using their music and art smart skills. Firstly, the children have been inspired by the amazing landscape artwork created by David Hockney. They have carefully sketched, thinking about perspective and have started to use water colours to complete their beautiful paintings. Then, over the last couple of terms, the children have been using their music skills to play the glockenspiel and talking about music making. As well as this, we have been studying ‘Meerkat Mail’ and learnt all about the diet and habitat of these amazing creatures! We have helped Sunny the Meerkat in lots of different ways, including with our maths learning!
