        Year 5 Mini Olympics

        Author: hue

This week, as part of their PE lessons, Year 5 participated in various sports linked to the Olympics. The focus was on learning and developing new skills but also on the key Olympic and Paralympic values of friendship, respect, excellence, determination, courage, equality and inspiration. The activities were challenging, meaning the children had to demonstrate determination and perseverance but fun and they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They’re now hopefully looking forward to actual Olympics and Paralympics in Tokyo this summer.
