To end their fantastic learning journey this term, Year 4 wrote a motivational speech as Ernest Shackleton, persuading his crew, who were stuck on the ice in Antarctica, to carry on their expedition so they can get home. They have worked so incredibly hard, drafting, improving and writing up their speeches. They rehearsed their speech, thinking about how they would use their voice to speak clearly, emphasise words and portraying Ernest Shackleton himself, using facial expressions. Each child performed their speech to the class and motivated us all! We are so proud of them all. If you scan the QR codes, you may notice some familiar faces reading their speech!
