Year 2 Golden Book 15.3.21

It was so wonderful today to be able to share our Golden Book assemblies once again with the children. This morning Year 2 celebrated the first Golden Book of the term. It was fantastic to see and hear all the amazing work our fabulous year 2 children have been taking part in and we have really missed this opportunity to come together and celebrate. We are exceptionally proud of our Golden Book winners this week. Their certificates were awarded for amazing reading to the class, a nomination for excellent sportsmanship from our sports coach, wonderful handwriting, excellent commitment to online learning, being music smart, great progress in maths, and having an excellent attitude to learning. Well done Year 2!

A special mention to Leo in the Goldfinch class who demonstrated his wonderful reading skills by reading an extract of the class book ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’ in today’s Golden Book. A superb job Leo. Well done!
