Year 2 are wacky…about worms!
Year 2 are Wacky about Worms!
This year, the Year 2 Eco warriors have taken on the responsibility of looking after our school wormery. They collect suitable food waste and ensure the worms are looked after and fed. Year 2 have learnt about the benefits of a wormery and how we plan to use the nutrient dense water from it to feed our school vegetable patch/water the plants. The children have really enjoyed checking on and looking after our worms.
