Captain Splosh makes a…Splash
Anglian Water came in to Bourne Abbey for a very exciting visit today! We learnt all about where our clean water comes from and how it is cleaned. We also got to be scientists and carried out a little experiment to see if we could tell what ‘clean water’ looks, smells and tastes like. One of the Year One’s said, “I really liked it but lots of people went ‘Eww!’ when it tasted like vinegar!” We found out about why clean water is important for our health and how we can tell if we haven’t had enough water to drink. Captain Splosh told us all we need to drink plenty of water to keep ourselves healthy! What a fantastic visit!
