As we get ready for Easter, we’re getting ready for one of the biggest surprises there has ever been. Jesus had been put to death and buried in the ground behind a huge rock. But on the first Easter Day and in the days that followed, his friends, such as Mary, Peter and John, kept finding him popping up where they least expected him. The big surprise was that there was so much love in Jesus that even being put to death could not keep him down. He burst out of the Earth because God’s love in him could not be stopped ‐ God’s big surprise.
All of those who took part really captured the true meaning of Easter; that Easter is the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection, not just the receiving of Easter eggs!
