        Year 6 E-Safety

        Author: Rachael Skidmore

Year 6 participated in an E-Safety workshop, run by ‘One Day Creative’. The session was focused on our online identity; how other people on the internet might not be who they say they are and things might not always be as they seem. Firstly, children explored why they think the internet is good and bad and their reasons why. Next, they worked in pairs, creating their own usernames and passwords and tried to trick other children in the class by being the ‘fake’ or ‘real’ user. Additionally, the children enjoyed playing a game where voices were disguised and their peers had to guess who it was, exploring that people aren’t always who they appear to be. Lastly, the children completed a whole class quiz, exploring safety online.
