Year 1 Creative Computing
In our Computing learning the children having been using the Paintz app to create digital paintings.
This term we have looked at various artists and re-created our own versions of their paintings.
Artists and styles
Piet Mondrian – Abstract images – involving squares and rectangles.
The children enjoyed creating a colourful painting involving lots of squares and rectangles using the shape and filling tool.
Henri Matisse – The Snail – Collage
Wassily Kandinsky – Squares and concrete circles
Georges Seurat – pointillism – The Sunflower
The children have really enjoyed their learning and are now more confident in using tools and navigating this app to support their digital paintings – amazing!
