        Super Science in Year 3

        Author: hue

In Science, Year 3 have been exploring the body and this week we looked at the skeleton. Did you know, an adult has 206 bones? We were amazed at some of the astonishing facts and loved using our own bodies to help us locate certain bones. We labelled each other with post it notes to show where the bones are and then created our own skeletons using paper straws!

We have also been studying the clouds. We enjoyed learning about the 3 main types and whether they are an indicator of good or bad weather. Using cotton wool, we creatively showed off our understanding. We think Professor Abbey would be proud of our fantastic scientific understanding!
