        ‘Express Yourself’ 2021

        Author: hue

Across the trust we have been discussing the importance of mental health during this year’s Children’s Mental Health week. As part of their remote learning pupils have been set a variety of tasks this week to show what activities or hobbies they enjoy and how following this year’s theme ‘Express Yourself’ they can take part in an activity to take their mind off any worries or to simply enjoy themselves. It has been fabulous to see so many pictures, videos and posts uploaded on to seesaw showing how we all express ourselves, and of course our wonderful teachers got involved too! Take a look at our videos and work below…..

As a Gold accredited Unicef Rights Respecting School we also recognise the importance of making links between Children’s Mental Health week and the rights of the child. We would like to share this UNICEF video reminding children how important it is to be aware of their rights and use them to be themselves and be the best that they can possibly be.

Mrs Orme also shared a wonderful book ‘ In my Heart’ in her virtual Collective Worship this week. Take a look at the video below…
