We’ll meet again …
This term in Year 6, we have enjoyed learning all about World War 2 and our class novel ‘Letters from the Lighthouse’ has had us gripped! Recently, the children have been working hard to create emotive diary entries written from the perspective of the main character, Olive, when she gets evacuated during the Blitz. The published diary entries have wowed everyone who has read them and the children are so proud of them – rightly so, as you can see! Not only have they been presented beautifully, but the children have really shown how much they have learnt about both evacuation and Olive herself. Year 6 definitely have the WOW factor!
