Talented Athlete Programme
8 children across Year 3, 4, 5 and 6, who were identified by their teachers as talented in one sport or sport in general, attended 4 meetings with Olympic ambassador Sophie Allen and Paralympic athlete Sam Ruddock from Inspire+. These meetings covered skill development, nutrition, training, communication, psychology and confidence to help them establish the basic needs for playing sport which are important to learn from an early age. The children left these meetings truly inspired and enjoyed imparting their knowledge with their friends and teachers.
