Spectacular Sports Days 2021

Having missed out last year on our annual sporting fun, we were determined to ensure sports day happened this year and it certainly did not disappoint. It was a fantastic colourful sight to see the children all competing in their house colour t-shirts, it has sorely been missed. The children from all year groups took part in their class bubbles in a variety of races from the highly competitive sprint to the hilarious egg and spoon and fancy-dress races. The standard of competition was high and there were some outstanding performances from individuals; some really talented athletes on display. The pupils demonstrated a lot of fantastic traits, determination to do well both for themselves and for their house, perseverance (especially in the skipping!), teamwork and comradery but most importantly – fun. There were huge smiles on the children’s faces throughout, which was a joy to see and all the staff were incredibly proud of their classes. We were disappointed that the parents were not able to attend, but we look forward to welcoming you all back next year to share in the enjoyment.
