        Reflection Rocks

It is a place where our children can calmly reflect upon our Christian Values, take some time out to think and, of course, make a wish! To brighten up the Wishing Well even more, last term the KS2 members of the Collective Worship Council held a competition where the KS2 children were to design a rock creatively displaying one of our twelve Christian Values: Creation with Respect and Reverence, Friendship and Peace, Perseverance and Courage, Compassion and Forgiveness, Trust and Hope, Thankfulness and Humility.  The winners of the competition were chosen by the Collective Worship Council and together with Miss Seymour and Mrs Smith, the winners and the KS2 Collective Worship Councillors painted their winning design onto a rock. The rocks were then varnished to ensure they are fully weather-proof and placed carefully around the Wishing Well. We think you’ll agree that they look absolutely stunning and have helped brighten up the Reflection Area as well as reminding our children of the Christian Values, helping them to live them out in everything they do.

Well done to the KS2 Collective Worship Council for organising the fabulous competition and for the winners for creating such beautiful designs!
