Reception Learning This Week
In Reception this week, the children have enjoyed looking at under the sea stories in our book corner as we continue exploring sea creatures and using amazing adjectives to describe them.
Whilst we are eating our snack we have our ‘Talk Time’. We look at an image and then talk about it using the sentence starters, ‘I know…’ ‘I think …’ or ‘I wonder …’. We make sure that we always speak in complete sentences and try to expand our ideas.
The children loved this image so much that they even chose to use their wonderful writing skills to record their ‘Talk Time’ ideas.
