Once upon a time…
Bourne Abbey and Bourne Elsea Park C of E Primary Academies saw their Year Ones arriving in style with some magnificent costumes showcasing a variety of fantastic fairytales and terrific traditional tales. Throughout the mythical day, the children created the fairest mirrors of them all, designed and made a new bridge after the Billy Goats Gruff had finished trip trapp-ing over it, and used some awesome adjectives to describe their outstanding outfits. Miss Peck said, “it was wonderful to see all of the children throwing themselves into our new topic with so much energy and enthusiasm!” What a fabulous fairytale opening to a new school year!
