Once upon a time in Year One…..
Once upon a time in a land close by, Bourne Abbey saw the Year One children arriving in style with some fantastic fairytale costumes including terrifying dragons, brave knights, beautiful princesses and many many more. Throughout the mythical day, the children designed and made a new bridge for the Billy Goats Gruff, created the fairest mirrors of them all, and used some awesome adjectives to describe their terrific traditional tales outfits. Mrs Mitchell was overheard saying, “Imagine if we came to school dressed like this every day!” The children really did throw themselves into the day with so much energy and enthusiasm. It was a fabulous fairytale start to our new school year!
