Lacrosse
12 excited girls from Year 5 and 6 took on the challenge of learning a new sport at Bourne Grammar – Lacrosse. After tentatively picking up their lacrosse sticks and having a go at plenty of new skills including dribbling, scooping, passing and shooting; their confidence grew and they entered the matches with unmatchable enthusiasm. During the matches, these girls displayed fantastic levels of effort, determination and perseverance as well as communicating effectively with their teammates and utilising some fabulous tactics. All of the girls received a medal and many exclaimed that it was the first medal they had been awarded.
