KS1 and Year 3 enjoyed celebrating the heroes that are our British Farmers in their very special Collective Worship today. They learnt all about the importance of harvesting the crops to supply people with food and understood how some people are not as fortunate as others. Both adults and children were overwhelmed by the generosity of our parents and carers who had donated such a wide variety of food for the community. The children’s stood beautifully proud as they sang their Harvest songs in unison. “It has been a true honour to listen to the children celebrate such an important time of the year,” exclaimed Mrs Skidmore.
