        Kids’ Club

        Join Bourne Abbey Kids’ Club for wrap around care for your child. Fun activities, arts and crafts, outdoor games and nutritious snacks in Bourne Abbey’s caring, Christian environment.

        Sessions run daily before and after school through term time and during selected holidays.

        For a child attending all week or for siblings  £4.50  £9.50 

        Bourne Abbey Kids’ Club offers quality before and after school care for children aged between 2 and 11, Monday to Friday through term time and selected holidays.

        • Kids’ Club is based in the Key Stage 1 Hall for children aged 4 and above. For children aged 2 and 3 wrap around care is provided over in our nursery setting, Abbey Ark.
        • Kids’ Club is open for breakfast from 7:30 a.m. and from 3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. after school, Monday to Friday.
        • At the end of each school day the children in Key Stage 1, Year 3 and Year 4 are collected from their classrooms by a member of staff.  Older children from Years 5 and 6 are expected to make their own way to the Key Stage 1 Hall directly after being dismissed by the class teacher.  All children present will be marked on the Kids’ Club register.
        • Bourne Abbey Kids’ Club is set out with a range of different toys and play equipment to suit all and promote different areas of development. Children are also welcome to use the blue room (outside of the hall) to complete their homework.
        • Kids’ Club makes use of the extensive and varied outdoor areas at Bourne Abbey to enable children to run around and play in the fresh air. The grass areas and trim trail and gym equipment Astroturf are all available, weather permitting, and   ensures a variety of fun activities. When the weather is less favourable, the club has access to the KS2 Hall where the children can enjoy various indoor ball games.
        • During each session the children have the chance to visit the ‘Snack Bar’ offering a nutritious delicious light snack, catering for all dietary and allergy requirements.  The weekly snack menu is on display in the Kids’ Club entrance corridor.
