        Harvest

On the morning of Monday 30th September 2019, Years 4, 5 and 6 from Bourne Abbey and Bourne Elsea Park went to Bourne Abbey Church.  Whilst there, they read key passages from the Bible, shared poems they had created about harvest and put on an inspiring performance showing the love and care that creates the rainbow of harvest around our world.  The Collective Worship representatives from Bourne Abbey then took an active role in supporting our local community by delivering the produce to the food bank, along with some fresh food kindly donated by Tallington Farm shop. Miss Charlotte Seymour, class teacher, said “We were so proud of the children at the service and grateful to all of our families who donated a wealth of produce for our local food bank.  Special thanks to Father Chris for welcoming us in to Bourne Abbey Church for our harvest thanksgiving.”
