Golden Book Assembly Returns to Bourne Abbey

        Author: Paul Houghton

Golden Book Assembly returned on Monday 3rd October, celebrating our fantastic children’s achievements and efforts since the beginning of the term.

Teachers from Years 4, 5 and 6 had the challenging task of selecting a pupil from their class to celebrate. It was lovely to hear about the children’s fabulous achievements spanning the curriculum, from Art to Mathematics and Writing. Each child was awarded a certificate and was able to select a gift from the prize box. We also welcomed proud parents of the celebrated children in to join us.

During the assembly 100% attendance was celebrated, with one child selected to receive a prize for being in school every day so far this year. As a class 5W had the highest attendance, an amazing 100%, and so took a first step forward towards the class attendance prize!

        Well done 5W!

A great way to start the week!
