In Term 2 our Christian Values are Friendship and Peace.
In November, the Collective Worship Council led their very first Collective Worship. All members contributed brilliant ideas to include on our theme of Friendship and Fellowship. We shared the Bible story of David and Jonathan before suggesting tips on how to be a good friend even when we face challenges. All of the representatives did a brilliant job and we look forward to creating our next one in the new year.
Thank you to Leigh Smith from Bourne Baptist Church for sharing her virtual Collective Worship about Friendship.
Peace is God’s intention for the whole of creation, and through our Collective Worships we will be encouraging the children to appreciate quietness and providing opportunities for calm reflection. Children will also be encouraged and reminded to solve their differences in a constructive way and to develop skills as a peacemaker.
