Easter Service Year 5 and Year 6
On 30th March, the Year 5 and 6 children at Bourne Abbey held a lovely Easter Service, retelling one of the major events of the Christian calendar. The children gave wonderful readings and the year groups sang so enthusiastically to help celebrate the Easter story. James Shore, Assistant Headteacher, said, “It was a special time for us to come together and all take a moment to reflect on the remarkable and very special events in Holy Week. The service helped us all to remember the importance of Easter and to look beyond the eggs and chocolate.”
