        Children’s Mental Health Week 2021

This week is Children’s Mental Health Week. Throughout the week our pupils will be discussing the theme ‘Express yourself’ whether in school or learning at home. It’s important to remember that being able to express yourself is not about being the best at something or putting on a performance for others. It is about finding a way to show who you are, and how you see the world, that can help you feel good about yourself. For Children’s Mental Health Week 2021 we will be encouraging children (and adults) to explore the different ways we can express ourselves, and the creative ways that we can share our feelings, our thoughts and our ideas. In addition to a Collective Worship and videos created by Inspire+, our teachers will be sending out some fabulous activities about how we can all express ourselves and we look forward to seeing some pictures and videos as part of your seesaw learning. We have also attached some really useful posters produced by CAMHS to support you all through these challenging times. Check out the school website later this week to see some of wonderful pupils ‘Expressing themselves’!
