        Children In Need 2024!

        Author: Helen Fleming

Children in Need day was celebrated in style with the theme “Through the Decades.” We saw hippies from the 60’s, disco groovers from the 70s, style icons from the 80s and ravers from the 90s – what a fabulous effort by everyone to make this a special dressing up day! Our playground Pudseys were covered with coins and lots of children were proud to wear their Pudsey ears and clothing to make a sea of yellow wherever you looked. In Collective Worship, we learned about where the donated money goes, and we thought about how it enables children to access their rights – some of which would not be possible without the support of Children in Need funding. Mrs Anderson said; “Everything about Children in Need relates to how we can act as Agents of Change in order to help other children access the rights that they are entitled to. It is such a pleasure to support Children in Need in this fun way every year – the outfits this year are amazing!”

We hope you enjoy the pictures of some of our children having fun whilst raising lots of money to support this worthy cause.
