Bourne Abbey Remembers
A special Collective Worship for Key Stage One and Key Stage Two today – Mrs Simpson came to share with us the important story of why we remember and why we wear the symbol of the poppy. Key Stage Two were in the hall at the time the cannon was fired and we were able to hear it and begin our two-minute silence.
We all sang a song of remembrance before sharing a prayer to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
