Abbey Ark Opening
On Thursday 9th January, we were delighted to hold the official opening of our new Abbey Ark building! We were thrilled to be joined by Governors and Trustees, members of the PTFA and staff from Abbey Ark and Bourne Abbey C of E Primary Academy. John Kirkman, Co-Chair of Trustees, and Sarah Moore, Executive Headteacher, had the pleasure of cutting the ribbon to officially open Abbey Ark.
We were extremely proud to showcase our high-quality provision and our fantastic new learning environment for children aged two to four. With our purpose-built setting, we aspire to help our children to grow and develop into resilient and curious people, helping them to extend their learning opportunities through their own individual interests and through play-based learning.
With a strong focus on child-initiated learning and play, our environment and resources are carefully planned and selected to facilitate new and engaging ways to challenge and stimulate the children. We provide opportunities that will excite and develop the children’s knowledge and curiosity.
We are equally excited that our expansion means that we have some places available. We are open 51 weeks of the year offering wrap around care from 7.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. and are delighted to be able to offer funded places for 3 – 4 year olds for both 15 and 30 hours, with the option to attend term-time only or to stretch funded hours over 51 weeks. 2 year old funded places and fee paying sessions for all ages are also available. Please do come and see what we have to offer you and your child – just give us a call 07824 994181 or email Abbey.Ark@abbeyacademies.co.uk.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to our opening and to everybody who has supported us along the way. We cannot express how grateful we are to everyone who has helped us to make this possible. We can’t wait to see what the future brings for us here at Abbey Ark.
