        A Day At The Museum!

        Author: hue

Year 4 had a marvellous time at Peterborough Museum when they travelled back in time to see what life was really like in the Roman town called ‘Durobrivae’. They took part in a number of wonderful activities, which included making remarkable roman pottery, learning how to be a Roman soldier and even had a go at being archaeologists! They learnt how to put on togas correctly, created their own clay faces and some lucky children even got to try on a uniform that the army wore! As well as this exciting learning, Year 4 travelled back to the local markets to learn about the food and money Romans used. After such a fun and engaging day, they will certainly have memories that they will remember!
