        The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

Wow! What a very exciting day full of celebrations and fun! We started our day by listening to a very funny story called ‘The Queens Knickers’. The children could not stop laughing all the way through. Next, we attended an assembly where the children learnt all about the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the events that were happening around the country to celebrate. Other activities throughout the day included: making fingerprint flags, making crown/tiaras, a group jigsaw challenge and lots more! Finally, we ended our day of celebrations with our Jubilee picnic and a game of guards, guards, Queen/King (an alternative version of duck, duck, goose).
Here are some pictures of our marvellous day!
