Sarah Outen visits Bronze Young Ambassadors

On Wednesday 30th June, Our Bronze Young Ambassadors and our 2 Mini Authors had the pleasure of welcoming adventurer and athlete Sarah Outen into Bourne Abbey Primary. She arrived on a super awesome scooter which she is using to visit all the schools that are supported by Inspire+ for their 10-year anniversary.

The children were busting with questions and couldn’t wait to find out about her adventures, what inspired her growing up and how she came about to be an adventurer. Amelie Bodmer, one of the Mini Authors whose story was published in the 10-year anniversary book, beautifully and expressively read her adventure story aloud and taught Sarah Outen all about Raymond Mays. We discussed adventures that we love doing and most of us enjoy exploring the woods and climbing. After that, we wished Sarah Outen the best of luck on her travels and she scooted off to Bourne Elsea Park.
