Visit to Bourne Churches for Year 1
Year 1 visited Bourne Abbey Church and Bourne Baptist Church to support their Religious Education learning about places of worship. The children were very lucky to have Father Stephen from Bourne Abbey Church and Pastor Nick from Bourne Baptist Church talk about their features and show them round. After that, they explored both places of worship with a checklist and most could identify features of both Bourne Abbey and Bourne Baptist. The children could compare similarities and differences between the two and explain why they were different.
