        Mini Olympics
On an unusual overcast day in Grantham, a selection of Year 4 pupils participated in a Mini Olympics organised by Inspire+. The children had the opportunity to participate in an opening ceremony, where we paraded representing Greece, and then undertook a variety of sports such as athletics, boccia, squash and wheelchair racing to name but a few. The day had a real carnival feel, as there were parades, music and dancers all adding to the entertainment and enjoyment. The children demonstrated superb enthusiasm to every event and the day really opened their eyes to the various sports they can participate in both in and outside of school. What a fantastic day.
