Children in Year One thoroughly enjoyed a History lesson exploring replicas of toys from the 1950s. Our enquiry question for the lesson was “What were our older relatives’ toys like and how do we know?” and “How have toys changed since our older relatives were little?”
They played with pick up sticks, tiddly winks, dominoes, snap, Ludo, a knitting wooden doll and Jacks and discussed our enquiry questions with great enthusiasm.
Well done Year One!
