Hockey Stars!
Bourne and Deeping Hockey Tournament
Two teams of children from Bourne Abbey C of E Primary recently took part in a hockey tournament held at Bourne Academy School.
Twelve children took part in the tournament and they were hugely excited about representing the school and competing against other schools. There were seventeen teams taking part from seven local schools and they put up some very stiff opposition.
The teams from Bourne Abbey displayed an excellent competitive spirit and supportive team work and fought hard to compete in their matches. They played some excellent hockey and displaying courage and determination throughout. Team B finished a very respectable 10th and Team A finished in a fantastic 2nd place.
It was a very competitive day of competition but the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and represented the school superbly.
